Hannah, Client Care Manager

Hannah joined Pet Kare in February 2017.  She lives in Hayden but also spent time living in Fort Collins.  She has been back in the Yampa Valley for 8 years with her husband, her son, her dog Dax and cat June Bug.  

Hannah is trained as a veterinary assistant and is an asset in the back of the hospital as well as the front.  Her love for animals has always been very strong, and she has always wanted to work in Veterinary Medicine and is so thankful to be a part of such a remarkable clinic.

She is in love with being outdoors, especially camping! She is artistic and loves to draw, photography and sometimes painting. She loves to surround herself with good friends and enjoy company of good people. She has a little boy who is her pride and joy and thankful to have such a wonderful work family at Pet Kare.

Sarah

Sarah is the jolly laughter you will encounter at the front desk. She has been a front desk receptionist at Pet Kare Clinic since 2006, and is the essence of customer service. 

“I am a member of many self-help groups, but I am not a licensed therapist! No, really, went to college for graphic design, but I don’t use my degree. I am a professional dog nanny. I used to own my own pet sitting business, but now I just work for one family and for Pet Kare Clinic”.

Sarah’s hobbies include: FISHING, horseback riding, FISHING, walking her wonderful hound dogs Orla Mae and Penny Mae, FISHING, skiing, FISHING, travelling to warm & sunny beach places…and…FISHING. She is also a volunteer for the Marine Mammal Conservancy and has helped pilot whales and dolphins that have suffered from mass stranding. She was, in fact, filmed by Miami News while helping a staff vet with a pilot whale. Sara is also a self-quoted ‘bird-nerd’ and was in a Jacques Cousteau film with Beluga whales at the age of 6 years old.

Lexie

Lexie was born in Pennsylvania, but grew up in Rural Missouri, always with pets as my best friends!  Lexie met her husband at 15, started dating at 16 and celebrating nearly 36 years together, married for almost 31, and have one incredibly awesome son Arik.

She loves to read, draw, crochet, cooking and packing a picnic lunch, going for a long drive exploring the absolute beauty of Colorado with my better half. Lexie moved to this beautiful valley in 2002 and absolutely loves watching the snow fall on days off with something yummy in the oven and maybe a loaf of bread baking alongside, reading a good book, while being snowed in!

Lexie worked for the auto industry for 15+ years, and now she loves being able to snuggle, pet and love on the furry patients

Samantha

Samantha is originally from Wilmington NC.  She ventured to the mountains of Colorado in 2013, ending up in Steamboat in 2016.  She has a young daughter named Kinsley who is full of personality, and a baby boy who was born July 2023.  She has a super sweet golden retriever named Hank, who loves his little siblings and takes very good care of the family.  Samantha loves the outdoors, she loves going on a good hike, camping with her family and spending a nice sunny day on the river.  She has always loved animals and is so excited to finally be working her dream job with animals and we are lucky to have her!

Amber

Amber’s home has always been the Yampa Valley, and she has enjoyed watching the area grow and change over the years while she has been growing with it.
