She received her training at Colorado Mountain College, where she commuted and took classes for two years to obtain her veterimg_1075inary technician degree. Her favorite part of working here is a tie between the people and the critters (both of which she loves!). She is especially interested in cats and behavior. Anna is a hard worker with a huge heart that brightens the rooms of PKC.
She has lived in Steamboat Springs since 2008 and resides with her 3 cats (Bear, Bonsai, and Burton), and her husband. Outside of work, Anna loves singing, painting, sewing, crochet, and cooking. Anna sings in the Steamboat Chamber Singers and directs for Yampa Valley singers.

beth[title size=”3″ content_align=”left” style_type=”single solid” sep_color=”” class=”” id=””]Beth Trujillo [/title] Beth has worked in the vet industry for 4 years and has been with Pet Kare Clinic since 2011 as one of our very valued veterinary technicians. She particularly loves dealing with wound management and behavior issues. She also really enjoys helping to heal our customers’ beloved pets so that they can remain in their lives. We are blessed to have Beth’s beautiful soul on our team.

While Pet Kare Clinic is a small-animal-clinic, Beth is actually a very avid horsewoman and showman. She rides and shows reigning horses, and rehabilitates orphaned or injured foals. She is happily married to her husband Jacob and is the loving owner of several horses, 4 dogs, and 3 cats on a wondrous 38 acres in our beautiful Colorado. Beth also has a passion for photography.

fullsizerenderHolly Degidts

Holly joined the Pet Kare team shortly after moving to Steamboat in August 2015.  She had been working in the veterinary field for 5 years, mostly as a receptionist, where she was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was so immediately proficient and knowledgeable at our front desk that she became cross-trained as a vet tech shortly thereafter.

Outside of work, Holly spends all of her time with her vivacious 4-year-old little girl. They enjoy swimming, watching movies, and going to the park. When she gets the chance, Holly’s favorite pasttime is relaxing. She also enjoys skiing.

Whether charming clients with her bubbly personality at the front desk or running the show with fiery spirit in the back, she has become an indispensable member of our team.

Megan

Megan Hartsel

Megan has worked at Pet Kare Clinic since July of 2013. She moved to Steamboat Springs from Summit County after 20 years in the veterinary field. Her past experience ranges from working as a veterinary technician to front desk and managing. At Pet Kare, you can find her at the front desk or in the back working hard as a technician.  Her favorite aspect of working at the Pet Kare Clinic is the upbeat energy of the team.

A self-proclaimed “cat person”, Megan moved to the high country from Delaware in 2000 and never looked back. She lives in Steamboat II with her husband, two boys, her cat Butters, and her  Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix), Radder. Megan loves the summer and spends most of her time mountain biking, camping and spending time with her boys. Her cat is locally famous for being one of Steamboat’s only “camping cats”. She also enjoys downhill, cross-country, and skate skiing.

janet-haverly[title size=”3″ content_align=”left” style_type=”single solid” sep_color=”” class=”” id=””]Janet Haverley, C.V.T.[/title] Janet has worked at Pet Kare a loooong time (over 20 years). We affectionately refer to her as our C.O.T. or Crusty ol’ Tech (Instead of a Certified Vet Tech or C.V.T). There isn’t a job in the clinic she hasn’t done. She has mopped her way to China and back. Janet managed Steamboat Silkscreen “back in the day” before joining Pet Kare in 1994. She officially retired last year but we still call her to fill in shifts when we need help and she keeps saying “yes”. She spends her winters in Florida and her summers in Yampa, riding her horse every day she can. Janet’s pets include birds, cats, dogs, horses, cows (her favorites) and pack rats.

Her love of animals began at an early age and she was destined to become a certified veterinary technician. Jamie is one of our long-term technicians, having been with Pet Kare Clinic for over ten years. She is skilled at literally everything she does and manages to do it with a quiet and gentle touch. She is known as the “IV catheter queen” because we’ve never seen her fail to get one in. Her professional interests are in dentistry and surgery and she has many years of experience in both. Jamie’s favorite part of working at Pet Kare is being surrounded by such loving and compassionate people who are always willing to go the extra mile. We appreciate that she is one of those people as well!

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family. Home life involves her two young children, her husband Scott, 2 Italian greyhounds, 4 kitties, 2 bunnies, 2 chinchillas, a cockatiel, and chickens! Jamie also enjoys sewing, beading, and gardening.
