Interesting Fact: According to city ordinances, it is a violation to leave a dog or cat in a car if the temperature is above 70 degrees. A new Colorado law goes into effect on August 9th, 2017 that permits a citizen to break the window of a vehicle containing a dog whose life appears to be in danger due to overheating.
